Over 60,000 years ago, before the Great Sith War, the highest ranking and most powerful Sith masters gathered to divide their realm. It was decided that the Clan system would be developed, with Houses ruling a single planet, Clans ruling a system, and the Star Chamber ruling all of known Dark Side space. However, before the system could be implemented, the Great Sith War began. All vestige of the Sith Empire was destroyed, and the members of the Star Chamber went to the Force, preserving their knowledge only in a single Holocron.

50,000 Years later, at the rise of then Senator Palpatine, the Holocron was uncovered, and the Star Chamber resurrected. Imperial Communiqué 10459232 ordered the creation of the Star Chamber, far beyond the Rim, with the purpose of someday joining in the Emperor's New Order. After Endor these members found their way to the Brotherhood...

To this day, nothing is known about the leaders of the Star Chamber, nor the Holocron which contains the secrets of these powerful Masters of the Dark Side, other than what is stated in this Compendium.
